I am a TV Sound Supervisor specialising in large live Multi-camera OB’s, such as Formula 1, Champions League & International Football events; and some Light Entertainment. Although live sport is my primary specialism, I can also be found mixing music & LE. I am a regular supervisor on BBC1’s The One Show. I have also mixed BBC3’s Glastonbury presentation coverage over the last couple of years; the stage presentation for The Classical Brits; Comedy such as Dave's One Night Stand; Pres and music mixes on such programmes as Sky Arts’ coverage of The Latitude Music Festival.

Originally joining the BBC at Television Centre in 1985 where I trained and worked in the sound department. I relocated to Pebble Mill in 1989, to work on a variety of TV & Radio programmes.I transferred to Network Radio Production and produced output for Radio 2 & 1including mixing music ranging from orchestra's to Rap. I went freelance in 1998, and started specializing in Sport OBs. I joined 021 Television OB’s in 1996.

With the acquisition of 021 by SIS in 2009, I was transferred to SIS Live which had recently also acquired the BBC’s OB department. I left SIS in 2013 to become freelance again, and now work through my own company - Mediar Europe Ltd

I am fully conversant with all modern techniques such as surround, and recently started working in UHD 4k & Dolby Atmos. I am fully up to speed with Calrec & Lawo desks and proficient in both Riedel & RTS intercom systems.
